Want to drive?

Montreal is an easy drive for all our lovely New Englanders.

From Upstate NY, Montreal is approximately a 3 hour drive via I-87 North (Yes, there are places past Lake George!).

From Boston, get some audio books, a good mix tape and a friend and hop on I-89 for about 5.5 hours.

You won't need a car! Downtown Montreal is completely walkable. Below are some other key facts to help you prepare for an awesome weekend.

MONTREAL WEATHER

Passports!

No Passport = No Party

This one tops any other recommendation on our site. Even though we are so close, Canada is a different country and your driver's license will not work to get you there!

To our frequent fliers, only passport books are valid at point of entry. A passport card will not work.

For those of you driving, you will still need a passport or a passport card to enter Canada. Note that during peak times it may take up to 45 minutes at the point of entry.

Weather

Montreal can be unpredictable

Temps are typically mild with the high around 65ºF and lows in the mid-40's. Rain is always a chance, so we suggest bringing at least a sweater and an umbrella

Attire

Cocktail attire at reception

We're dressing up, but we want everyone to be comfortable while looking their best. Cocktail attire is requested (suit and tie / cocktail dress), but feel free to get as fancy as you want!
